We have used TriStarr's services for approximately eight years for short-term temporary positions and permanent placements, as well as occasional skill assessments. I have enjoyed our business relationship for numerous reasons, but most notably because of the quality of the candidates that we receive from TriStarr.
I believe that this is due in large part to the efforts of Angie Hessen, the Staffing Specialist assigned to us. Angie does an excellent job obtaining all of the necessary basic information such as the skills sets needed for any given position, in addition to many of the less tangible items such as personality traits of both the candidate we believe would be best for the position and those of the people at our firm with whom the potential new hire will be working. Angie has also shown immense patience with us in our searches as we tend to be somewhat "particular" about who we hire, including those for our short-term temporary positions.
I have never hesitated to recommend TriStarr to other law firms and organizations who were in need of a good staffing service that keeps their eye on the clients' needs, and will continue to do so in the future.

Kim has been our representative for the past 4-5 years - certainly long enough for us to come to value her expertise, timely response, intuition, and hard work. She knows our firm well, which means that a call for staffing is met with almost immediate response in terms of resumes and candidates. She works closely and carefully with all interviewees; invariably, as I ask during an interview what a candidate thinks of TriStarr, I receive positive feedback.
I know that Kim shares her job with Linda. Job-sharing can be tricky with countless opportunities for issues to slip between the cracks. This just doesn't happen with these women - they are well-organized and their service to us is seamless. I attribute this to Kim's competent organizational skills. This letter is so overdue that I am almost too embarrassed to write it now, especially since we at [Community] Bank have not been in need of the services of your fine company in the last few months. But as a wise person once said, better late than never.
During our five years as a young, independent bank, we have relied heavily upon the services provided by organizations such as TriStarr to meet our needs for temporary staffing, particularly in the area of quality secretarial skills. While I would like to say that we utilized your team from day one, that would not be true. Unfortunately for us, we began with a local competitor and only after a number of very disappointing results during our first year in business did I call TriStarr for help.
"Help" is not the word to describe what your team provides. "Superior Service" is a more descriptive term for the support that I personally received every time I needed temporary staff assistance. We started utilizing TriStarr's services in December 2002 and have been extremely satisfied with the level of service and professionalism we have received from your organization.
Our original intentions, when starting with your organization back in 2002, were to help supplement our other agencies in meeting our temp needs. After a few recruits from TriStarr and seeing the high quality of candidates, we made the decision to use your agency solely for our clerical needs.
We primarily started out seeking temps, however, the temps seemed to exceed the supervisors/managers expectations and many of them have turned out to be successful additions to our team.
I must mention that we enjoy working closely with our Staffing Specialist, Angie Hessen. She has been very attentive to our needs and I trust her judgment in selecting the right candidates for the Manheim Auto Auction.

It is with great pleasure that I recommend you and TriStarr Services to the corporate community for recruitment needs. Our experience working with you to find a Chief Financial Officer was simple, efficient and, most important of all, resulted in a great hire for our company.
In our first interview together, you contended that corporate culture was your specialty and that finding a fit from a philosophical perspective was your expertise. For me that fit is the most important part of ensuring a new hire becomes a long term member of a corporate team.
In our case, I assumed the financial skills of the applicant were unquestionable. It was the opportunity to work with a business in the hospitality industry and have fun that mattered more to me in our search. You were extremely tuned in to that need and understanding when we chose to keep looking.
Also, working with our company can often be frustrating in that we make a lot of decisions by committee. You needed to weigh the comments of four people rather than just one. This letter is in regard to your recent service on employee behavioral analysis. Though you provide many other employment services to us that we find helpful, this one has really made a difference in our firm.
As you know, we profiled 10 employees before pairing them up into teams. Your data not only helped us to make the right match, but it allowed these folks to better understand how they can work together more effectively. The best part though was the employee's acceptance of the process and how they actually found value in the task. I'm sure we all have a better understanding of each other, especially now that they know I can be a tough taskmaster (haha). Personally, I am glad I did this for myself. The insight you gain about who you are and how you'll be perceived as a leader helps me to keep my employees' needs top of mind. I was also quite pleased with the cost effectiveness of this service. Our hospital and other affiliated companies of our healthcare system have been working with TriStarr since 1993. In January 2001, TriStarr was selected to be our primary vendor for clerical, administrative, and light industrial staffing services.

The skill assessment provides a basis for screening applicants, designing development programs for current staff and career advancement. Performance expectations and behavioral profiles were created for certain positions that both TriStarr and our internal staff use in screening applicants. The goal of the project is to improve job satisfaction, overall performance and career development while reducing turnover. This project is ongoing.
